Technolagy 2
For this weeks technology task we have to watch and listen to the Prime Minister today at 1pm today, either online or TV. She is making an announcement on covid-19 level 2. Next he wanted us to make a blog on how level two will effect us and what level to means to us. so here is what I think on how it could effect me and what I think about level two.
Today the Prime Minister announced the rules for
level 2, there was a lot of changes coming when she lets us back to
level 2 and most of them don’t really matter to me, but there are some
that make me really excited for them! The first thing that I am excited
for is finally being able to hug my Ma (that’s my mum’s mum) and have
her over for a family dinner, I have really missed seeing her and
walking with her! I am also looking forward to a return to a new normal
but with more routine and going to school, but then I am also not! It
will be good to see my school friends and teachers – but its also back
to getting up early and heading out over those cold winter mornings.
It
will be good to finally be able to go out for a meal and see people
again, also my brothers need a hair cut so that will be awesome.
I
am proud of how New Zealanders have been working to keep us all safe,
but I am a little nervous for the change as I don’t like change!Wednesday, May 6, 2020

Reading: Harry potter
Today and the rest of the week I am working on reading the book "harry potter and the philosophers stone" book 1 from the harry potter books. its quite interesting to be honest I didn't like harry potter at all but when I started to read the book I was so I interested way more interested then the movies because the movies missed things that the books have I learnt that quite fast, I have watched the first and second movie 2 years ago.
I cant wait till I can get the next book I wonder what its called I have a lot of things i like about harry potter but I wont bore you with the list.
here is a drawing I made of harry potter:
I did draw on a piece of paper because I found it easier to draw.
If you have any questions because I have none but I do love harry potter now just know that the movies miss things that books include so I will suggest to read the books before the movies so you know all of the things that the movies miss out.

Waikikamuko
Here is something a little bit differentWaikikamukau
Waikikamukau is just like saying why kick a moo cow, Waikikamukau is a town New Zealanders call when they can't remember the name of the town so they call the town Waikikamukau. Did you know that not only people call towns that they don't remember the name of waikikamukau there's a place in australia called waikikamukau here is where it is Waikikamukau, Gympie Terrace, Noosaville QLD, I searched Waikikamukau on google maps and I found that place over in Australia I have never been to the place but its seems pretty awesome, My dad was the person who told me about Waikikamukau and told me the meaning, I didn't believe him at start until he told me to google Waikikamukau so I did and he was right it was quite fascinating to read about Waikikamukau.
Hang in there it's worth it, I hope.
There is alot about waikikamukau that I learnt about that people use to always talk about it. My dad and I, we were talking about waikikamukau for ages. It was so interesting to learn about and still is for me. I'm not sure about anyone else. If it was interesting to you tell me how it was interesting. I do hope you were interested in learning about waikikamukau.

The wild adventure of Aki and Toshi,
The lock-down had ended and all the people in Aki and Toshi's bubble had returned to their schools and workplaces, leaving them feeling lost and alone! Toshi wandered in to the lounge to see Aki looking sad now that the house was quiet. So Toshi suggested that they went on an adventure of their own to find the magical unicorns. Aki thought about this for a moment and let out a bark of enjoyment!
With that they set off and walked to the magical forest at the end of their street, it took them a long time to get deep into the forest but once they were deep inside Aki was scared he realised that they were lost and they didn’t have their humans to help them get home, they walked deeper and deeper inside, it was dark and there were strange sounds it was getting even scarier so Toshi found a tree that had fallen over and made a bed for them from the pine needles so they could shelter from the night. As they settled in for the long dark night Toshi thought to himself how silly going on an adventure without his people was, how hungry he was, and how he would love to be snuggled at the feet of his dad instead of in the dark with the scary sounds!
Aki woke with a feeling he was being watched, when he opened his eyes he saw eyes starring back at him so he let out a loud bark, and whatever it was turned and ran away – with that he chased it running faster and faster but he couldn’t catch it! Up the tree, it ran leaving him to bark at the base of the giant tree. Toshi followed the barks to find Aki once they were reunited Toshi suggested they left the dark forest and left exploring and hunting for the unicorns to the humans so they wouldn’t be so scared. So as the sun started to shine through the trees the boys began the long walk home.
As they came to the edge of the forest they could hear familiar sounds, they paused for a moment and listened to be sure, and sure enough the sounds where their humans yelling out their names with a hint of panic with each howl. Toshi looked to Aki barked and began to run, they ran as fast as their wee legs could carry them.. as they came to the over the final hill both boys barked delighted at the sight of their humans, with one big leap they were back in the arms of the humans that loved them.
Their humans carried the very tired exhausted boys home where the belonged, lay them by the fire with a bowl of warm milk, and there Aki and Toshi fell fast asleep dreaming of the next adventure, but next time they wouldn’t go alone.
I fixed it from Mrs Allan-Fleatcher commenting what I mucked up but I'm thank full of course so thanks alot Mrs Allan-Fleatcher For telling me 😌
