My 500 word challenge #2

                                                              Imagination

Once upon a time, There was a magical castle with all of the mythical creatures there, People got to see them if they paid for what they called the Magical zoo where all the magical and scary creatures were hidden so they didn’t get killed and put on display on walls at shops and more they looked after them and once got a unicorn to use its magic to get all of the animals to understand the people and magical creatures and so the humans can understand them as well so they knew what to do to help and feed the magical creatures, it went from unicorns to dragons to an alien once till it went back to its home because the earth was too much for it and there were over 1000 mythical creatures there, more then 100 thousand people went there but they closed down for a bit because the animals started to go back to home but they stayed when they closed down and now its more like a private zoo where only some people can go.

People now have to pay $130-$140 to go see the animals because it took them over 100 years to get them all, these people only die when they are 400 years old which is pretty cool so they get over a decade to see how the world changes and they are about 154 now. They have looked after the animals for 54 years and the animals cant die because the humans keep their population up high so they don't die forever, There are even dinosaurs too!

One day a little girl went there for a birthday party and it was half price for the whole family because she said she wanted to be one of the people who help the animals which is so sweet and kind to say towards them all. The unicorn was her favorite animal there but she also loved them all equally so none got left out, later that day a half pegasus and half unicorn took her for a ride around the whole castle and to the best view ever and the on her left her mum was on another one to her right her dad was on a dragon and behind her, The unicorns taught the animals how to use wings and gave the wingless animals wings to the whole entire zoo was with her and she loved the place and the owner told her to let people know its the best place to go again so she did and it was popular again and the animals didn’t mind. All of the time when people paid extra for rides they had to pay for it, it wouldn’t be fair for the animals because they used their energy to fly people around and then back to where they started which was really cool for people.

Eventually, they all went back home when the people who took care of them died they were devastated but still extremely happy to be around each other and every now and then they went to the people for a good feast until bad people came to try and kill them that’s when they moved to a hideout they made so they still existed but the people from the town told them that they will protect them so they did.

The End

My 500 word challenge #1

                                                                             Lions

Lions are wild and can be tamed but taming can be found difficult but awesome to have as a friend if they need medical help/helping them with looking after them in a healing process and more.

If you ever find a mad Lion do not approach it, it can end up extremely badly, and don't feed them unless you are professional with dealing with the wild lions and more wild animals.

In my opinion, I would say not to do anything stupid towards them if you are not a professional or without a professional or you could at the worst die and be their dinner or get badly injured or something like that.

Just to know they are very beautiful, can be friendly, and can be dangerous/annoyed or just in their natural habitat.

Did you know that most wild lions live in Africa?

Personally, I did because I studied lions at my old school when it was a task.

Did you also know that on average, males weigh 190kg (almost 30 stone) and females weigh 126kg (almost 20 stone).  They need this weight and power behind them to hunt large prey and defend their pride.

I’m loving these different facts about lions because some people think ‘Lions are way too dangerous but it is that I know of is only if they are mad/annoyed by someone/something but when they aren't and are getting the food they can be extremely kind.

Also, they are kind if they are used to being around you and if you go away and when you come back from a Holliday lets say they can be extremely excited to see you again

Another fact I know, Did you know that Young lions have rosettes and spots on their sandy coats, but these generally disappear as they mature?

This one is a bit more different but also cool and you can learn more different things about lions!

I just found out this one, Male lions grow impressive manes the older they get. These manes grow up to 16cm long and are a sign of dominance. The older they get, the darker their manes go.   As well as attracting females, their manes may also protect their neck and head from injuries during fights.

I didn’t know this! A pride of lions is usually made up of related females and their cubs, plus a male or small group of males who defend their pride. The lionesses rear their cubs together and cubs can suckle from any female with milk.

Who knows this one? Lions are highly adaptable and can live in very dry areas like the Kalahari Desert. Here they get most of their water from their prey and will even drink from plants such as the Tsamma melon.

Fact about lions, Lions are big eaters, they can eat up to 40kg of meat in 1 meal, around ¼ of their body weight.

Did you know that lions hunt during storms, mainly the night and the rest is during the day.

New Zealnd land march

Maori Land March.

What is the Maori Land March?

The Maori Land March (Hikoi) was a group of Maori people that walked from Northland to Wellington, this group was lead by Dame Whina Cooper, they were protesting for the loss of Maori land.  They left on the 14th of September, they then arrived in Wellington on the 13th of October 1975. When they arrived in Wellington they presented a petition signed by 60,000 people to the Prime Minister, Bill Rowling.

It took them 29 days to arrive in Wellington. It was 1,100 kms.

I made this map of the places they walked and all the places they stopped!
